Sarah and Derek got hitched! :)
We flew to California last week to celebrate the 4th of July ... and most importantly Sarah and Derek's wedding. It was a reunion for Michael's side of the family and Amber was able to meet some extended family members for the very first time. Amber's mom was even there to celebrate with us too! The wedding was Sunday evening and we ran non-stop from the moment we arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Michael actually had a little bit of free time and managed to squeeze in a viewing of Transformers with his brothers (Aaron and David). While the boys were having fun "bonding" - the girls were busy helping Sarah get ready for the big day ... from pedicures, to manicures, to a day at the spa, to the Cheesecake Factory, to dress fittings and sorts of other good stuff - we had a blast!The wedding was beautiful ... and the pictures will speak for themselves.

The Avery's came from Dallas too ... the cutest flower-girl and ring-bearer I've seen in quite some time!
And finally, the newest Volbeda Family picture (somebody get us a wide-angled lens ... we still have three Volbeda weddings and who knows how many grandkids on the way)! :)
