We are getting so close to the end of our master bath that I can hardly wait. The shower and floor tile is finished. Michael has to seal it tonight but it is practically ready for use. The cabinets are in and they are a million times more beautiful than the ones we had before. The toilet has to be purchased and installed which is a quick and somewhat easy task. The countertop may be the one hold up on this entire project. We are waiting for a contractor to come out and install it. Michael is dying to do it himself but granite doesn't leave room for mistakes and it requires a lot of cutting so we'll probably leave it to the professionals. Hopefully, we will be "back in business" with our shower and toilet by Sunday night!!! That means no more middle-of-the-night trips into the guest bathroom!
In baby news ... we went to the doctor again yesterday and got a great report. We were able to hear the heartbeat ... something like 160+ beats per minute. I still cannot grasp what is taking place inside of my own body. It continues to amaze me. Here is me at 12 weeks ... don't really look pregnant but the doctor assures me I am! :)

ReplyDeleteWe just finished learning all about development in school... so here are some exciting things happening at 12 weeks: baby's fingernails have started to growing, the liver is functioning and the spleen has just started working, your baby is starting to make urine (yeah!), and her/his little arms are almost their final length. Hope you find these little tidbits interesting. I am so excited for you and can't wait to see how things progress.
