Two Week Check-Up

We had our two week check-up on Thursday. As mentioned before, they like for babies to get back to their original birth weight by this time. Born at 7lbs 0oz our little girl weighed in at 8lbs 2oz during her check-up. WHOA!!! Like a friend of Michael's used to say about his children - she has rolls where she doesn't have bends (mid-arm, thighs, a darling double chin, etc.). Needless to say they are not concerned about her weight. :) She also got a shot and the follow up "newborn screen" where they prick the heel. She did cry but snuggled right up to me when it was all over and went right to sleep. Way to go little girl!!!
