9 months

It is hard to believe that Audrey has been with us as long as she was inside of me. It truly has flown by and I still cannot grasp the idea of her having a first birthday!!! So exciting but very surreal as the same time.

Here are her stats at 9 months:
27" inches long (45th percentile)
16lbs 2 oz (10th percentile)
17.5 inches around her head (50th percentile)

I was shocked to hear that she is only in the 45th percentile for length. Maybe she's not going to be the tall girl that we thought ... or maybe these percentiles are just for fun. I am going to ignore the fact that her head beats both her weight and length in percentiles. Let's just say she must be a smartie! :) Either way, she is a bundle of joy and we couldn't be more in love with her!!! She has brought a great deal of love and laughter into our home (and we had a lot to start with).

Here are her "talents" at 9 months:
crawls everywhere
pulls up on everything - literally, everything
cruises along the coffee table and couch
sucks her thumb
loves to pull up and look out the window
stands in her crib
feeds herself cheerios, puffs and anything else she can grab
sucks her thumb
claps her hands
says "dada"
babbles all day long
points with her index finger - very precise
sucks her thumb
laughs and smiles most of the day
loves people
loves Zoe
screams for no apparent reason other than testing her vocal chords (a singer, maybe?)
sucks her thumb
takes two good naps and one "cat nap"
sleeps between 11 and 12 hours at night


She is just what her name says - pure BLISS!
