Mother's Day

It still feels a tiny bit strange to celebrate myself on Mother's Day. Being a mom is the second most wonderful experience of my life (second to being a wife) but there is still a part of me that doesn't feel quite old enough or mature enough or experienced enough to be honored on Mother's Day. Lucky for me, MV and little A had no problem reminding me that I am officially in the "Mother's Day" club.

Here is my favorite gift of all - a happy, healthy, delightful little girl!

After lunch with my mom we were able to enjoy a playground across the street from where we indulged ourselves. :)

And if swinging with Grandmommy wasn't enough, little A also got to swing with Uncle D (who is here for the summer). He is quickly becoming one of her favorite friends!
