Rick Warren, author of A Purpose-Driven Life and pastor of Saddleback Church in Southern California, is hosting the Saddleback Civil Forum this weekend. He will conduct one hour interviews with Barack Obama and John McCain. The questions he will ask fall into five categories: leadership, stewardship, worldview, compassion issues, and their vision for America.
This event is going to be carried live by CNN from 7:00-9:00pm on Saturday night. Should be interesting to watch!
In a semi-related note, it appears that Saddleback Church has opened up a satellite campus in my hometown of Corona, California.
